Here is some video I shot on my safari in South Africa set to Paul Simon’s “Under African Skies.”

Adorable Smart Car Bodykits

Smart car + Corvette = Smorvette

This “Smorvette” is pretty much the most adorable car ever.  It’s probably photoshopped, but is still awesome.  To see the rest, including a “Smamborghini,” “Smorsche,” and “Smerrari,” go here.

Must Watch Butt Pucker of the Day: Matt Hall nearly puts his plane in the Detroit River yesterday at the Red Bull Air Race Championships qualifying round in Windsor, Ontario.

Now that is what I call a touch and go.

Jaime Alguersuari drives the Red Bull RB6 Formula 1 up and down the beach.

That looks like SO MUCH FUN!

On my walk from where I park every morning to Wood Center, where I work, there are several large, blooming apple trees with bees buzzing all around them, and this morning I finally took the time to stop and get some photos.

My work keys lying in the trail of light coming through the door of the Wood Center ballroom. All the lights were out, because I was just about to leave, so the only point of illumination was from outside. Because it was really dark, and I didn’t want to use the flash, I set the camera on the ground and used ISO 200 and a 4 second exposure, then added the Sepia effect later in iPhoto.

A DC-6 coming in to land. I didn’t really intend to frame the photo this way, it was more of a “oh cool, a DC-6, I should take a photo” then desperately trying to get my camera settings right before the plane was too far away.
